91.7 WVXU is happy to introduce Democracy & Me contributor, Mr. Aaron Parker. Mr. Parker is an ESL specialist and Agriculture Career Tech Pathways educator at Aiken New Tech High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. While also coaching their cross-country team, he started the school’s international program, oversees the development of Aiken’s farm where students learn how to grow a variety of vegetables and take care of animals, and is a board member for the Illustrated Memoir Project. Mr. Parker and Aiken High School have consistently contributed to Democracy & Me by bringing students to talk about their unique experiences with the world on the Democracy & Z podcast.
Aiken’s diverse student population allows them to bring different perspectives to Democracy & Me, and WVXU is excited to continue to explore this partnership.
