Measuring the Mood of the American Voter

One of the most important factors in any election is how the voters feel, about the direction of the country, their personal situations, and what the future may hold for them and their families. And this year voters are nervous, angry and frustrated.

WVXU joined NPR and other member stations in examining the state of mind of the American voter. Cincinnati Edition hosted a discussion about the mood of voters this election year with University of Virginia Center for Politics Director of Communications and Sabato’s Crystal Ball Contributor, Kyle Kondik; Ohio Public Radio and Television Statehouse News Bureau Chief, Karen Kasler; and WVXU political reporter . Kyle Kondik’s book, “The Bellwether: Why Ohio Picks the President,” will be published this June by Ohio University Press.
