Civics Outreach from the Federal Bar Association

The Federal Bar Association created a national civics outreach program to help educate students about our court systems.  With the resources provided judges and attorneys can visit classrooms and talk with students. Students can also have the opportunity to visit courthouses to observe proceedings and meet with lawyers and judges.

You can explore the resources and learn more about the outreach program.

United States Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of Ohio and National President of the Federal Bar Association, the Hon. Michael J. Newman visited WVXU’s Cincinnati Edition program to talk about the outreach effort. Listen to the conversation.
